This article contains plot details.

Loosely following the movie's plot, the game opens to two puppies, Oddball and Domino, watching tv. Loosing interest upon a commercial coming on, the two decide to look for pirate treasure out in the yard. While outside, Oddball digs up a toy based on Cruella de Vil, the game's antagonist. Meanwhile, at one of Cruella's toy factories, she rants that she's ruined due to the poor sales of her toys. Calling upon Dr. Farzboom, she has him reprogram her toys to kidnap pets all over England.

Upon Oddball and Domino return home, they discover that their siblings are missing. They find their parents who tell them to look at the tv. A news report comes on and states that pets are disappearing without a trace. Their father, Dipstick, determines that Cruella is behind the disappearances. Dipstick then tells his wife, Dottie, that they'll go to Cruella's toy factory, rescue their puppies, and put a stop to her once and for all.

Before leaving, Dipstick tells Oddball and Domino to stay home and watch over their humans. Once their parents leave, the two puppies decide to help rescue their family. Along the way, it turns out that their parents have gotten captured as well. During a final battle at Cruella's toy factory, Cruella ends up glued to Dr. Farzboom and her henchmen, Horace and Jasper, end up on a deserted island. The game ends with Cruella, still glued to Dr. Farzboom, in a jail cell.
