The Dragon Master was a power-hungry individual who caused the fights that wiped out three clans. With his own people out of the way, he intended to unlock the secrets of China's Forbidden Palace and conquer the remaining clans.
Due to the Dragon Clan's greed, fights arose between them and the other clans. These fights wiped out the Tiger Clan, the Mantis Clan, and the Dragon Clan, leaving one survivor from each.
At an unspecified point between the destruction of his clan and his first meeting with T'ai Fu, the Dragon Master convinced the Snake Clan to join him by promising that he would turn them into dragons.
T'ai Fu: Wrath of the TigerEdit
Years after his clan's destruction, the Dragon Master received word of a tiger that was still alive. The Dragon Master learned that he was being raised amongst the Panda Clan and upon arriving, attacked T'ai. He then left, assuming that T'ai was dead.
Later, the Dragon Master struck a deal with the leader of the Rat Clan; he would keep the Crane Master prisoner in exchange for the Dragon Master turning a blind eye to the Rat Clan. He soon struck another deal; the Boar Clan agreed to join the Dragon Master if they could have more opportunities to steal from and terrorize others.
At the top of the Forbidden Palace, the Dragon Master engaged T'ai Fu in combat. However, he fell to the techniques that T'ai had learned from most of the other clans. Upon his defeat, China was freed from his tyranny and the Dragon Clan was no more.
